manageID offers Automated Passport Control (APC) Solutions primarily to be used by airports (but may include seaports) to expedite the entry process for eligible international travelers by providing an automated process through the primary inspection area of immigration and customs. Travelers use self-service kiosks to submit their Customs Declaration Form, biographic information, and if required – biometric information.  Those using APC Kiosks experience shorter wait times as their data is staged and available for the Customs/Immigration officials, ensuring less congestion and faster processing.

Instead of filling out a paper Customs Declaration Forms on the aircraft prior to landing and disembarkation, those eligible can proceed directly to the APC kiosks in the Passport Control Area.  At these kiosks, they are prompted to scan their passport, take a photograph using the kiosk, present their fingerprints (as needed), and answer a series of questions verifying biographic and flight information.  Once passengers have completed the series of questions and submitted their Customs Declaration Form, a bar-coded receipt is issued.  This receipt, along with the traveler’s passport, is presented to an Immigration Officer to finalize their inspection for entry into the country. The APC technology does not store any personal information and the traveler information obtained is submitted directly to DHS CBP via secure encryption protocols.

manageID has currently implemented the same technology in a Latin American country, which has labeled it their “Trusted Traveler Program” for easy entry back into the country from the United States. Due to this experience, we can offer the same solution with support in English and Spanish, and can extend this to multiple foreign language requirements as needed by the licensee.
